from Midea officials, on October 14th, Midea Building Technology's new production and R&D base invested in Europe officially started construction in Feltre, northeastern Italy . The new production and R&D base is located in the Clivet factory of the high-end commercial air conditioner brand under Midea Building Technology in Feltre, Italy.

  Midea said that Clivet's main products include chillers, heat pumps, air treatment and purification systems. The company's production and operating area in Feltre exceeds 50,000 square meters and the total number of employees exceeds 700.

  the new production base will invest 60 million euros , including the heat pump production center and R&D center, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 heat pumps, which is expected to be put into production in the second quarter of 2024 . After completion, the key materials of heat pump products will be manufactured and sold in Europe, and the cycle from placing an order to delivery of heat pump products will be shortened from 5 months to 1 month .

  Data shows that in Midea Group's annual revenue of more than 300 billion yuan, overseas business accounts for more than 40% . Up to now, Midea's global business covers more than 200 countries and regions, with about 30,000 overseas employees.

  According to reports, Midea currently has 18 production bases in 9 countries including Vietnam, Belarus, Egypt, India, Brazil, Argentina, Thailand, Italy and Japan , and has initially established logistics distribution and installation capabilities in more than 20 countries.
