　　an internal memo shows that Instagram will significantly reduce the shopping function, because the focus of Instagram's e-commerce business will shift to projects that can directly boost advertising revenue.

　　Instagram notified employees that existing shopping pages would eventually "disappear." In the coming months Instagram will be testing a new, simpler, less personalized page, internally called "Tab Lite."

　　The new Instagram page, which began public beta on Wednesday, has also been tweaked to the app's design, leading users to a "Tab Lite" version of the shopping page.
