according to MacRumors news, on August 2, Apple updated the list of outdated products, adding eight new MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac models released in 2015 and 2016.

It's worth mentioning that the first MacBook Pro models with the Touch Bar are now on the obsolete list. These models were launched in October 2016. For now, Apple has removed the Touch Bar from high-end MacBook Pro models, but the latter is still on the M2 version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro.
