The release of Apple's iPhone 14 series is imminent, and the configuration details related to it have also been widely exposed.

On August 10, Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the average selling price of the iPhone 14 series will increase by 15% compared to the iPhone 13, reaching $1,000 to $1,050, mainly because the two models of the iPhone 14 Pro are more expensive and shipped. The proportion is higher.

However, the industry has been inconclusive about whether the new generation of iPhone will increase the price. Although there have been rumors that the iPhone 14 will increase the price of the whole series, just a few days ago, there were media reports that Apple would probably cancel the price increase plan of the iPhone 14 temporarily.

Before the final price is announced, the specific configuration information may be more worthy of attention. Based on comprehensive supply chain and foreign media information, Apple will launch four iPhone 14 series models in September, namely iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Among them, the two Pro versions abandoned the classic Liu Haiping for the first time and changed to a "pill + hole-digging screen" designed with a similar exclamation mark.

The iPhone 14 basic series will still use the A15 chip, and the Pro version will be equipped with the A16 chip.

All iPhone 14 series will be upgraded to 6G memory. As a distinction, the iPhone 14/14 Max will use LPDDR4X memory, while the two Pro versions will use LPDDR5 memory with faster read speeds. Research firm TrendForce also predicts that the storage space of the iPhone 14 Pro series may start at 256GB.

According to the information currently exposed, the iPhone 14 series is not much different from the iPhone 13 series in terms of screen, shooting and processor, and the entire system will still use Face ID unlocking and Lightning interface. A major change may be that, according to the pictures exposed by overseas bloggers, the rear camera module of the iPhone 14 Pro has been significantly increased, and the 12-megapixel camera has been upgraded to 48-megapixel.

There may also be new changes in color matching. According to the concept map revealed by overseas designers, the iPhone 14 series will add bronze color matching. In addition to this, the iPhone 14/14 Max will also be available in black, white, blue, red and purple, while the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max will be available in graphite, silver and purple.

Any new developments in the new generation of iPhone are closely watched. Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo also posted that according to estimates by component suppliers and electronic manufacturing service manufacturers, the shipment of the iPhone 14 in the second half of the year will be about 100 million units. Among them, the demand for the iPhone 14 series in the Chinese market may be higher than expected, and some Chinese dealers and scalpers must pay the highest deposit ever for the iPhone 14 series to ensure sufficient supply.

Ming-Chi Kuo also revealed some supplier information for the iPhone 14. According to him, Shengbang Microelectronics has joined Apple as a supplier and will provide components for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and Sunny Optical has become the largest supplier of 7P wide-angle lenses for Apple's iPhone 14 series.
