the organization "Unicode Consortium" (Unicode Consortium), which maintains the official emoji directory of smartphones, recently released the Unicode 15.0 standard, adding 31 new emojis .

These new emojis include push hands, shaking faces, moose, goose, the long-awaited emoji "pink heart," and a WiFi (wireless) sign.

After the Unicode 15.0 standard is released, mobile phone manufacturers, operating system manufacturers and application developers will launch their own versions to promote them to the corresponding devices. Today, Google has released these new emojis with the Noto font so developers can easily embed them into their own projects.

Google says the new emoji will be available on Android by the end of this year and in other Google products next year. In addition to the color version of the Noto font, Google has also released a black and white version of the Noto font for these new emojis. Earlier this year, Google debuted monochromatic (black and white) emojis as a nod to the emojis on older "feature" phones.

Additionally, Google will release its first set of open-access animated emojis, some of which are already available for Google's Messages app.

In addition, Google has also deployed the COLRv1 standard, which allows users to change some fonts. In the case of a duck emoji, users can create new versions of the emoji by changing the colors of different parts of the duck.

Currently, support for COLRv1 is limited to Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, with support for Firefox coming soon. So far, users haven't been able to send these mixed emojis through the Messaging app.

However, Google allows users to change their colors through a G-board-based "emoji kitchen." Users can add a colored heart to the current emoji to change its color, for example, mixing a red rose with a yellow heart creates a yellow rose.
