Andreessen Horowitz (also known as a16z) announced an investment in new residential real estate company Flow.

Flow was founded by Adam Neumann, the founder and former CEO of WeWork who was forced to leave in 2019.

What kind of company is Flow? The official website has few details, but the company is expected to launch in 2023. According to the media description, Flow is equivalent to a service that allows a large number of landlords to syndicate properties, similar to hotel owners partnering with branded hotel chains to operate their own hotels. Andreesen Horowitz is said to be investing $350 million in Flow.

Andreesen Horowitz thinks Flow could give people a new way to buy living space. Neumann has purchased a large number of homes in many parts of the United States, ready to operate as a "landlord".
