According to Sony's official notice, the accolades function of the ps5 game console will be disabled in the autumn.

Accolades is a reward function launched by Sony to create a good game atmosphere. If players are friendly or commendable in the game, other players can give players titles through this function, including "helpful", "enthusiastic", "excellent performance" or "leader", which is a bit like the appreciation of teammates in "watch pioneer".

However, Sony's official notice said that the accolades feature will go offline this autumn because "this feature has not yet reached the expected level of use, so we are rethinking the focus."

Players in each game can only send accolades to one player anonymously. They cannot send accolades to the same player multiple times within 12 hours, nor can they send accolades to friends or blocked players.
