Apple will soon launch a new generation of iPhone 14 series. Even if the smartphone market is facing shrinking, Apple is still full of confidence and requires suppliers to increase their stocking capacity from the original 90 million units to 95 million units. According to the latest report released by UDN, Apple's supply chain production is expected to increase by 5%.

This time Apple offers four models of iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the mini model will be replaced by the iPhone 14 Max with a 6.7-inch screen. All four models are said to be equipped with 6GB of memory. The difference is that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max use LPDDR4X memory and A15X Bionic, and the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max use LPDDR5 memory and A16 Bionic. In terms of storage, it is consistent with the iPhone 13 series, starting from 128GB and providing up to 1TB of storage space.

Some analysts pointed out that the iPhone 14 Max has a larger display, which can attract more attention from consumers, and it is expected that the demand may be higher than expected. At the same time, Apple may take advantage of the decline in Android smartphone sales to capture more market share through better after-sales support. However, the current global economic situation has deteriorated, and inflation has eroded consumers' purchasing power, which may make some consumers no longer choose flagship models.

In order to achieve the iPhone 14 series shipment target set by Apple, various supply chain manufacturers have started. It was previously reported that Samsung will provide Apple with 80 million OLED panels for the upcoming new generation of iPhone models. As Apple increases its stocking capacity, Samsung may not have enough production capacity to meet Apple's orders. LG and BOE may have Opportunity to win more OLED panel orders.
