iPhone 14 Pro Series Camera Rollover Developer Says Camera Module Damaged
Recently, some users of the iPhone 14 Pro series said that the third-party software had problems with blurred images and jitters when using the camera, and there was obvious vibration.
According to MacRumors, Apple said a software update will fix it next week, saying the issue will not cause permanent hardware damage to the device.
In this regard, Halide, a professional camera application developer, said that it is not a software problem, and the problem may be caused by a damaged image shift stabilization module.
However, some netizens questioned Halide that when using the iPhone's default camera application, the camera shake problem did not appear.
Halide responded that this is because the default camera app starts with a different shooting mode than third-party software cameras , so stabilization is activated.
There may be some truth to what Halide said, and Apple's software engineers may have reproduced the problem and believe the problem is software related.
Users of the iPhone 14 Pro series don't need to worry too much, even if the camera module eventually breaks, Apple will replace the module unit for phones affected by this.
