Indian Smart TV Market Ranking in Q2: Xiaomi No. 1, One Plus No. 3
In the smart TV market, mobile phone manufacturers have a relatively high presence. For example, in China, Xiaomi has ranked first in market share for several consecutive years. In the Indian market, this situation is also very obvious. According to previous statistics from relevant agencies, four of the top five mobile phone manufacturers in India's smartphone market are from China. Recently, CNMO noticed that Counterpoint announced the statistics of the Indian smart TV market for the second quarter of 2022.

Counterpoint said that due to the growth of online channels and the demand for high-resolution and high-quality audio, India's smart TV market has grown by 74% year-on-year, and the penetration rate has reached 90%, setting a record high. Among them, shipments of 32-inch TV products increased by 94% year-on-year, accounting for 47% of shipments in this quarter.

In addition, in terms of specific manufacturers, Xiaomi, Samsung and OnePlus are the top three manufacturers with a share of 13%, 12% and 8% respectively. Among them, OnePlus’ shipments increased by 123% year-on-year, which was very impressive. These three manufacturers are also very well-known smartphone manufacturers. In addition, LG and TCL accounted for 7% and 5%, respectively, with TCL's shipments more than doubling year-on-year.
