Acording to reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) responded to the recent consumer criticism of the FSD beta software, and did not agree with the consumer the opinion of. The software will soon be upgraded to Tesla's advanced driver assistance system, priced at $15,000. Musk and Tesla have promised that the FSD will one day offer full self-driving capability.

On Tuesday local time, a Tesla owner named James Locke said on Twitter: "I have to say, where I live, when using FSD Beta 10.69, you still have to manually intervene in the vehicle. There is still a lot of room for improvement in FSD."

The owner also said the FSD still had difficulty making right turns and other basic tasks. Musk recently announced that starting September 5, the FSD will rise from $12,000 to $15,000. "There are so many problems with FSD right now, it's too early to raise prices," Locke said.

Musk then replied: "There is a reason for the small-scale push of 10.69, please don't apply for the early test system and then complain."

Tesla FSD is not actually a fully self-driving system. It still requires the driver to be vigilant and ready to take over the vehicle at any time. The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has accused Tesla of falsely advertising its ADAS system, and the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is also investigating several crashes involving Tesla's Autopilot system, some of which resulted in fatalities. Compared to FSD, the Autopilot system is a less advanced driver assistance system.

FSD is the future of Tesla. Musk has said the system is Tesla's most important asset. He also said last month that the current price of the FSD is "outrageous" given its excellent features, and he expects Tesla to "solve full self-driving" by the end of the year.
